The Pakistan Journal of Artificial Intelligence (PJAI) is dedicated to the open dissemination of research, promoting transparency, ethical reuse, and compliance with global standards. 1. License Type

All articles published in PJAI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) unless stated otherwise.

2. Author Rights & Retention

Authors retain full copyright of their work and grant PJAI the right to publish, distribute, and index the manuscript.

Authors have the right to:

  • Deposit preprints or accepted versions in institutional repositories, preprint servers, or personal websites.

  • Use their published article in future academic works, such as books or dissertations.

  • Distribute copies for educational or non-commercial research purposes.

3. Journal & Publisher Rights

PJAI retains the right to:

  • Disseminate the article through various indexing platforms and digital archives.

  • Preserve the integrity of the scholarly record and enforce ethical publication standards.

  • Implement errata, corrections, or retractions when necessary, following COPE guidelines.

4. Third-Party Content & Permissions

If an article includes third-party copyrighted content (e.g., figures, tables, images), authors must:

  • Obtain written permission from the copyright holder before submission.

  • Clearly credit the original source in the manuscript.

  • Ensure that the use complies with the terms of the original license.

5. Commercial & Non-Commercial Use

The CC BY 4.0 license allows for both commercial and non-commercial use of published content, provided appropriate credit is given.

Organizations, researchers, and educators may:

  • Integrate content into educational materials and scientific presentations.

  • Use data, figures, and findings for industry and policy development.

6. Licensing for Special Publications
