Publication Ethics

The Pakistan Journal of Artificial Intelligence (PJAI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Our policies are guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and best practices from publishers such as Elsevier. These standards ensure credibility, academic rigor, and global trust in published work.

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. If misconduct is confirmed, PJAI will take decisive action including manuscript rejection, retraction, and potential author blacklisting.

5. Data Integrity and Reproducibility

Authors must:

  • Report findings accurately and transparently.

  • Ensure methodologies are reproducible and all data is accessible for verification, where applicable.

  • Corrections (errata) are issued for minor errors that do not affect the scientific conclusions.

  • Retractions occur when serious ethical breaches or data issues are identified.
